Tensall Bio-Tech Co. was founded in Yilan County, Taiwan and committed to conducting state-of-the-art probiotic research and development in order to be a leading brand in the probiotic industry. 

2000

2000.04
Tensall moved into the Biotechnology Center of National Dung-Hwa University and commenced the investigation in fermentation and granulation processes of probiotics.

2001

2001.04
Tensall launched a project for development of bio-cosmetics processing in collaboration and cooperation with National Dong-Hwa University

2001.05
Tensall moved into the Chao-Yang University of Technology Innovation Incubation Center and conducted researches in biological agents for environmental protection

Tensall proudly announced an original complex symbiotic fermentation technology by which lactic acid bacteria were co-cultured, manufactured and preserved with full activity at room temperature. Effectively improve the function of digestive system.

Tensall held a groundbreaking ceremony for the World Headquarter Building and Global Manufacturing Plant

Tensall launched a research project to develop extraction processes and study the functional components of aromatic plants in cooperation with Hualien District Agricultural Research and Extension Station, Council of Agriculture, Executive Yuan.

Tensall originally developed TS pro-liver Formula that consists of the metabolic derivatives of probiotics and determined the effectiveness of TS pro-liver Formula on modulating physical conditions

2002.03

Tensall initiated a project to establish the first GMP plant for probiotics in Taiwan with assistance of The Food Industry Research and Development Institute (FIRDI). 

2003

2003.01
The World Headquarter Building and Global Manufacturing Plant of Tensall were completed and issued with usage license.

2003.02
Tensall authorized the Taiwan Agricultural Chemicals and Toxic Substances Research Institute (TACTRI) to conduct activity of TS6® probiotic animal tests of which the results proved that TS6® probiotic is safe to use and has effects on the health of gastro-intestinal tract.

2003.03
Tensall developed the oral TS6® skincare materials which are the extracts of fermentation of milk with selected probiotic strains, optimal effect in improving beauty, healthy and long lasting youthfulness.

2003.04
Tensall developed TS7® biological skincare formula which is designed for improving the conditions of skin and generated by fermentation of milk with 7 probiotic strains, and a series of cosmetic products that use TS7® as main ingredient.

2003.05
Tensall developed TS-2L® material for feminine cleansing purposes, which is designed to address the feminine health issues, particularly vaginal infection. Tensall has extracted the bioactive constituent of fermented milk that is inoculated with two probiotic strains isolated from a healthy female individual. In a cooperation and collaboration with Chung Shan Medical University, Tensall has conducted human trials for antimicrobial effectiveness of TS-2L®

Tensall started to establish its own brand, TS6® under which a series of full products are developed including dietary supplement, bio-tech skincare, and feminine intimate care.

Tensall moved into and cooperated with FIRDI to develop functional products of probiotics

Tensall established its logistic channels nationwide and its own brand TS6®

Tensall was certified as the first GMP factory for probiotic.

Tensall promoted the conceptional products of probiotics - TS7® Bio-tech skincare and TS-2L® feminine intimate care series.

Tensall developed PROBIOENZY® process technology by which nutrients in vegetative materials can be comprehensively decomposed and effectively released into media leading to ease of absorption.

2004.12

Tensall utilized the PROBIOENZY® technology to successfully develop a series of spirulina products, named SPIRUVITE®.

Tensall developed PROBIOMIN® process technology by which minerals can be comprehensively chelated into a form for easy and effective absorption.

Tensall developed a series of ProbioCa®, ProbioMgCa® and ProbioFe®, based on PROBIOMIN® process technology.

Tensall gained ISO9001 quality assurance for healthy foods and cosmetics.

TS6® probiotic of Tensall was the TOP 1 sales, the most popular healthy foods for maintaining gastro-intestinal tract.

Tensall developed novel materials for immunomodulatory purposes, named RAD-3L®.

Tensall developed a series of immunomodulatory products named TS6® 3+3 U care.

In cooperation with Yuan Pei University, Tensall conducted a research project in formulation of microcapsule for probiotics to extend the applications of probotics.

Tensall completed the toxicology testing and conducted animal and human testing of TS6® probiotics to seek the approval for distribution in China.

Tensall formed a strategic alliance with Yuan Pei University to explore the potential applications of milk ferments of probiotics.

2008

Tensall launched a project to develop an up-scale extraction process of Sweetscented basil (Ocimum gratissimum L.), which is funded by CITD Project of Industrial Development Bureau, Ministry of Economic Affairs.

Tensall signed a contract with Chung Shan medical University for animal testing of liver protection and safety of Sweetscented basil (Ocimum gratissimum L.)

Tensall launched a patent application for decomposition process of micro algae in China.

Tensall gained the approval of The Securities and Futures Bureau for Initial Public Offering (IPO).

Tensall participated in Bio Taiwan 2008 exhibition.

Tensall obtained international food safety standard certificate HACCP.

TS6® probiotics gained approval of Thailand FDA and was successfully exported to and distributed in Thailand through the medical logistic channel.

Tensall participated in the international tradeshow BeautyAsia Singapore 2009.

TS6® series entered several biggest logistic channels like Cosmed, A mart, and RT-mart.

Tensall collaborated with Yuanpei University for HOFF® anti-fungi tests on skin diseases.

Tensall signed a collaboration contract with Food Industry Research and Development Institute for patented Bifidobacterium technology.
